Amcol
AMCOL Corporation began as the American Charcoal Company,a family operated foundry supply house in 1902. In the late 1940s, we focused our efforts on lubricants, release agents, quenches, and other chemicals for use in die casting of zinc and aluminum.
A leading manufacturer and ingredient supplier to major personal care and dermatology companies, Amcol also serves as a turn-key provider to boutique skin care organizations. Differentiated by proprietary technologies, they work across all channels, from prescription dermatology to mass market and private label, ensuring Rx-grade quality.
The company's manufacturing capabilities include FDA-registered bulk drug production with adherence to GMP standards and validated analytical systems, including rapid micro testing. They specialize in lotion manufacturing, offering batch sizes ranging from 50 to 2000 kg with PLC-controlled processing conditions. Their advanced facilities support pressure/vacuum systems and in-line/in-tank homogenization for superior product consistency.
Today, AMCOL produces lubricant and corrosion preventative chemistries with harmonized application and filtration equipment, each enhancing the performance of the other.
The full potential of the fluids we produce is realized through proper application, and vice versa. We manufacture metalforming coolants paired with engineered filtration systems, release agents with air atomized spray or electrostatic powder systems, and corrosion inhibitors joined with PLC controlled coating systems that monitor production speeds and adjust coating volume accordingly.
AMCOL is now a fifth-generation family business serving worldwide markets. We look forward to an exciting future.
