Top FAQs on L-Lysin HCL

Lysine appears to help the body absorb calcium, and it plays an important role in the formation of collagen, a substance important for bones and connective tissues including skin, tendons, and cartilage.

L-Lysine is an essential free form amino acid which acts as a precursor for several other amino acids, including L-carntine (needed for fat metabolism). L-Lysine is crucial for the formation of collagen, a major part of the body's connective tissues.

The HCl denotes that the lysine is present as the hydrochloride salt. Salts changes the properties of the lysine, making it more soluble.
