What is L-Histidine?

L-histidine is the L-enantiomer of the amino acid histidine. It is not made by the body, but is consumed in foods. It is involved in many different metabolic processes in the body. There is a wide variety of usage in many industries including supplements, functional beverages, personal care, further it can also be used as raw material for synthesizing APIs. It also helps in growth, repair of damaged tissues, and making blood cells. It helps protect nerve cells and also used by the body to make histamine.
