What is HDK® N20 Pharma
Pyrogenic silica is a mature product that WACKER has produced for over 50 years and is used by customers worldwide with great success. Thanks to our integrated production system with statistical process control and highly efficient reactor dynamics, we produce pyrogenic silica of exceptionally purity.
HDK® pyrogenic silica is a loose, bulky white powder. Due to the integrated production system with its statistical process control and highly efficient reactor dynamics, the pyrogenic silica produced is exceptionally pure. Pyrogenic silica from WACKER is of a low order of toxicity, chemically inert and does not conduct either electricity or heat. All pyrogenic silicas feature a large specific surface area: 18 grams of a typical pyrogenic silica has a surface area that would cover the size of a football field.
HDK® pyrogenic silica improves the performance, stability and handling of your systems and formulations at all phases of production and processing. HDK® is ideal for adjusting the flow properties of liquids and giving powders optimum free-flow properties.
Indispensable in pharmaceuticals: HDK® pyrogenic colloidal silicon dioxide is an excipient for pharmaceuticals. It is a highly effective tableting aid, provides free flow for powders and ensures the right rheology in liquid formulations. HDK® greatly enhances the efficiency of processes like granulation and tableting. For liquid pharmaceuticals, HDK® ensures reliable performance throughout storage and application.
