What is Fructo-oligosaccharides
Fructo-oligosaccharide (FOS) is a sugar found in various natural sources such as fruits and vegetables (onions, asparagus, bananas, tomatoes, etc.) and is commercially produced from sugar through enzymatic reaction. Fructooligosaccharide can be used as a prebiotic ingredients, and its sweetness and sweetening pattern are similar to sugar.
