What is Copovidone VA64
Copovidone VA 64 is a vinylpyrrolidone-vinyl acetate copolymer that is soluble both in water and in alcohols. It is used in the pharmaceutical industry as a binder in tablets, as a granulating agent, as a retarding agent and as a film-forming agent. Copovidone VA 64 is a white or slightly yellowish powder. It is a copolymer of 1-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone (NVP) and vinyl acetate at a ratio of 60:40.
